Volunteering with Community and Social Service

Many Brazilian communities especially the poor are in dire need of social and community development support in areas such as social and community research community development. Volunteers abroad in Brazil can choose between social research or community development work.

Social Research Duties: In collaboration with faculty of the University of Brazil volunteers abroad will collect, compile and analyze community views and document social research findings. They help identify specific community problems and work in partnership with national and international organizations to propose solutions to these problems.

Community Development Duties: Voluntary work entails assisting Brazilian development efforts in several ways, including: social/community problem diagnosis, devising and creating a network of community solutions, collective planning, community mobilization and capacity building through training.Submit an Application
