Program Fees

A non-refundable registration fee of USD 349 must accompany your application. We guarantee you placement in your first two choices and your first two countries and will refund your registration fee if are unable to provide you placement as indicated.

Combining Kenya Programs

Apart from the Kenya Language and Cultural Experience program, which is not, offered alone, other programs care offered alone or in combination for a maximum of 6 months in Kenya. For instance you can combine the Kenya Adventure Tours and Holidays program with Volunteer placement in Kenya or Internships Abroad in Kenya .

Combining With Adventure Program: Beyond the first two weeks of the adventure programs, placement basically entails non-wildlife volunteer placement. Those interested in internships instead of volunteer work add USD 100.00 to the fees corresponding to the number of weeks they are interested in.

To combine the two-week adventure programs with volunteer or internship or language and culture programs, simply select the programs you like in the application and we will take care of it. You can also email us and we will readily assist you.

What Is Provided

Communication: Program information; Kenya office expense (utilities, salaries, maintenance, office rent)
Food, Accommodation: 3 meals per day while at home, or dinner and breakfast plus free packed lunch while at project; vegetarian diet.
Program Placement: airport pickup; coordination; donation to projects; project supervision; project and home visitation Beach and jungle excursion costs, including transport, accommodation, dinner and breakfast while in Mombasa, all meals during jungle tours.
Insurance: Comprehensive travel and health Insurance.

What is Not Provided

International Travel: departure drop off at the airport; airport departure fee (USD 20); private in-country travel, visa fees; special diets (vegetarian diets are covered); meals while away from home except as otherwise provided

Miscellaneous Expenses: personal expenses such as toiletries, leisure, bottled water, refreshments;; driver's tips; daily transport to and from project (walking distance in most cases else normally not exceeding $1.2 per day); all meals en-route between Nairobi and Mombasa; lunch during your stay in Mombasa please see the safari and beach adventure program page, click here.
