Volunteering Abroad in Ecuador

Ecuador Volunteer and Internship Programs

The International Volunteer Travel offers a range of volunteer abroad opportunities and overseas internship placements to choose from in Ecuador. The Ecuador program gives you an opportunity to work in any of the following areas, namely: volunteering with children, teaching, health care, Community Development and Outreach.

International volunteer and internship abroad opportunities are provided under three different programs: Volunteer Abroad in Ecuador, Internships Abroad in Ecuador, Basic Spanish Program, and Ecuador Adventure Holidays

Additionally, we offer Gap Year Abroad in Ecuador and can arrange a Group Volunteer Abroad placement for groups including students and church missions at a discounted cost.

The Volunteer and Internship Abroad Programs in Ecuador can be offered independently or in combination with the Basic Spanish Program, or the Ecuador Adventure Holidays programs.

Spanish Language Requirements

Working or basic knowledge of Spanish is strongly recommended for most Ecuador projects. Ecuador Volunteers and interns can acquire this through taking one or two weeks of our Basic Spanish Program classes.
