The International Volunteer Travel offers an exciting group volunteer mission for students, youths, community, professional or church groups looking for a way to travel or give back to the world through international volunteer work.

The International Volunteer Travel offers placements in several countries in many different areas of interest. Participants will discover new things about life in other countries, and actually learn more about themselves.

Taking a group volunteer program overseas is great for learning about different cultures and gaining valuable knowledge that will help you later on.

You will interact with and touch the lives of many nice people, and make some great friends. These relationships will last a lifetime, and will give you insight and understanding of different cultures.

What Could We do?
International Volunteer Travel offers several programs. Group volunteer abroad opportunities are available in all areas volunteer placement in our program. In addition, you can combine your group volunteer mission abroad with our Adventure, Wildlife work, Spanish study abroad program, or mountain climbing. We can even organize a church mission trip for your church group in collaboration with the local community.

There are many areas of volunteer placement available including teaching, working with domestic or even wild animals, working with children, Christian mission work, HIV and AIDS awareness, medical work, or nature conservation. You can also do reforestation, community development, working with women in prisons, business enterprises, children dance and drama, or working with artisan groups.

Where Would We Go?
From Central America to Southeast Asia, there are many countries to choose from. First off, pick a continent! We have placements available in Central America, South America, Africa, and Asia. Then you can determine which country fits you best.

Placement abroad is currently available in the following countries:

Ecuador
Guatemala
India
Kenya
Nepal
Peru
Tanzania
Thailand
Uruguay

How Long Would It Last?
Overseas Group placements are available for a minimum of 1 week and a maximum of three months.

When Could We Start?
Group Volunteer and internship programs starting dates vary by region but we have two starting dates each month.

Generally, in Africa and Asia, programs start on the first and third Wednesday of each month and in Latin America, programs start on the second and fourth Wednesday.

Where Would We Stay?
Group International volunteers and overseas interns will be living with carefully selected host families. We will normally place a number of them with the same household and most households will be close by.

what Would It Cost?
Fees vary by type and length of program, and by country of placement. Participants pay program fees including non-refundable registration fees.
