TestimonialsKenya Teaching Volunteer Placement
Since
2003, more than 1.5 million children have been added to Kenyan
elementary schools; but the number of schoolteachers has hardly
changed. Your voluntary contribution to teach English as a second
language (TESOL) in Kenya, Africa or to teach other subjects
will be highly appreciated and fulfilling to yourself. It may
be the only opportunity that some Kenyan children will have
to learn something before the year ends.
Kenya teaching volunteer work abroad includes; helping teachers in the class, reading, making materials, teaching English, Math, Science, arts and crafts, playing and leading activities and games, and helping kids with homework.
Combination of Programs
In addition to Volunteer placement in Kenya, the International Volunteer Travel also offers opportunities for Internships Abroad in Kenya, the Language and Cultural Experience, and the Kenya Adventure Tours and Holidays program. With exception of the Language and Cultural Experience, which must be combined with another program, all Kenya programs are offered independently or in combination.
