Nepal is one of the most enchanting countries in Asia. A visit to Nepal leave international volunteers and overseas interns yearning for more of what nature has to offer. The International Volunteer Travel Adventure Holiday in Nepal is an amazing two-week Program incorporating about seven days of volunteer or internship work plus 6 days of touring spectacular places in Nepal.
During the first 8 days, Nepal international Volunteers and interns abroad are provided with an opportunity to work with children or teach English in Nepal.
A sample schedule of our International Volunteer Adventure Holiday Program in Nepal is provided below:
Day 1: Arrival and pickup from the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal. Transfer to host family home, and rest. Day 2: Registration and Orientation including an introduction to Nepalese culture, religion, customs, politics, geography and various other topics. Day 3: Nepal Volunteers and Interns abroad leave for project early in the morning after breakfast. Introductions held with project staff. Day 4 - 7: International volunteers and interns abroad continue working abroad. Weekends are free to tour Nepal or interact with host family. Day 8-13: Nepal Adventure Holiday Tours Day 8 - 10: Royal Chitwan National Park Spend three days on various activities at the park including a canoe ride; jungle nature walks; safari game drive; elephant riding; elephant breeding program tour; crocodile conservation tour; traditional Tharu cultural dances; a visit to the Tharu village and museum. A Chitwan National Park jungle safari is an experience you will remember for a long time.
Day 10: Chitwan- Pokhara: Leave Chitwan in the morning and drive to Pokhara sightseeing beautiful Nepalese countryside along the way. Day 11-13: Pokhara Tour In Pokhara you will tour David’s Fall, also known as Hell’s Fall, an amazing waterfall with no apparent end. You will also visit Lake Phewa/Fewa, the second largest lake in the Kingdom, offering an excellent view of the mountains, which reflect on the lake. You will be able to sail or row a hired boat across the water and visit the island temple in the middle of the lake. Other places you will tour in Pokhara include Mahendra Cave, Mahendra Bridge, and Seti River area and the World Peace Pagoda. Day 13: Travel back to Katmandu. Program Evaluation on arrival. Day 14: Program Ends at 10 AM. |

Combining With Other Programs
You can combine the Nepal Adventure Holidays program with the voluntary work abroad in Nepal, the overseas internships, or the Nepal Language and Culture Program and extend your adventure in Nepal.

Nepal Adventure Holiday Program Highlights
Age Limit: 18 and over; Under 18 years only as outlined on Gap Year Abroad in Nepal and Group Volunteer Abroad pages.
Length of Program: 2 weeks.
Starting Dates:1st and 3rd Thursday of every Month
Airport Arrival: By 3:00 PM the previous day.
Accommodation and Meals: Accommodation provided in special selected Host families. 3 local Nepalese meals are provided per day including free self-packed lunch.
Transportation: Projects mostly walking distance from home. Alternatively take commuter bus; fare will normally be no more than USD 1.00 per day for a return trip to and from project.
Schedule: Mondays to Fridays. 3 to 8 hours daily.
